Long Arm Mechanics is a proud to be an approved Napa auto care center. Long Arm Mechanics always recommends repairs that will be covered under the “Peace of Mind” warranty program.

● Where you can obtain warranty service: If you are less than 25 miles away from the original NAPAAuto Care Center location (Long Arm Mechanics), you must return your vehicle to the NAPA Dealer location where the warranted service was performed and present your copy of the repair order to the NAPA dealer. If your vehicle is inoperable, and you are more than 25 miles away from the original facility, you may be eligible for certain towing and/or rental can benefits as determined by the warranty administrator.
● If you are not aware of the participating NAPA dealer locations in your area, then you must call the warranty administrator at
1-866-GET-NAPA (1-866-438-6272) between the hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Eastern Time) and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday (Eastern Time), excluding holidays.
Long Arm Mechanics Supplemental Warranty Policies
● In order to provide the best experience for our clients, we have established our own supplemental warranty policies
● All repairs performed by Long Arm Mechanics include a complimentary re-inspection: All client concerns that may be covered under warranty are eligible for a complimentary re-inspection and diagnosis. Vehicle must be inspected and diagnosis at Long Arm Mechanics
o Long Arm Mechanics will not honor inspections or diagnosis performed by 3rd party repair shops, including manufacturer
dealerships, and is not responsible for any costs incurred at 3rd party repair shops.
o Long Arm Mechanics will not guarantee immediately addressing of the warranty concerns due to appointment based scheduling. In all cases (warranty or not), every effort to minimize the amount of time a vehicle spends at the shop will be made. Long Arm Mechanics is not responsible for the customer’s loss of time without their vehicle or rental vehicle costs.
● Major Component(s) Replacement Warranty Coverage: Engines, transmissions, differentials, etcetera, come with their own
independent warranties with a varying degree of coverage. Every effort is made to provide the strongest warranty possible to our clients.
o All reasonable efforts will be made by Long Arm Mechanics to obtain coverage from the warranty provider to reduce or
eliminate costs incurred to the customer.
o Long Arm Mechanics is not responsible for covering any costs incurred due to the failure of any major component replacement.
● Sublet Item(s) Warranty Coverage: Including but not limited to module rebuilding and replacement, come with their own independent warranties with a varying degree of coverage. Every effort is made to provide the strongest warranty possible to our clients.
o All reasonable efforts will be made by Long Arm Mechanics to obtain coverage from the warranty provider to reduce or
eliminate costs incurred to the customer.
o Long Arm Mechanics is not responsible for covering any costs incurred due to the failure of any major component replacement.
● “Next Weakest Link” and Additional Items Warranty Coverage: There are times when one component of the vehicle is repaired and brings the components sub-system back into full operating condition. Additional repairs on the same subsystem are sometimes exposed immediately or shortly after the repair is performed.
o Example #1: When a leaking water pump is replaced, the cooling system is restored to the specified cooling system pressure. The cooling system is now operating and proper pressure, and additional repairs in the cooling system may now be exposed, such as the heater hoses, Heater core, and even head gaskets that are completely independent of the initial water pump replacement.
o Example #2: When an electrical circuit fails and is repaired, the rest of the electrical circuit is now operating properly and can
have additional concerns or failures of its own that are completely independent of the initial electrical circuit.
o Long Arm Mechanics is not responsible for covering any costs of subsequent repairs required that were not or could not be
known prior to the initial repairs being performed. The only exception is if the repairs are determined to be a misdiagnosis or
issue with the quality of repairs.
Misdiagnosis and Quality of Repairs Performed Warranty Coverage:
Long Arm Mechanics focuses 100% of our energy on performing the best possible services every car, every time. “To Err is
human”, and sometimes mistakes can happen. Long Arm Mechanics is happy to cover 100% of the parts, labor, shop supplies,
hazardous waste disposal fees, and taxes incurred to re-repair the approved warrantied repairs originally performed at Long Arm
Mechanics. These warranty concerns must be inspected, approved, and repaired at Long Arm Mechanics without exception.
